The job:
We’re looking for an Email Marketing Specialist (SMS experience a plus) with proven expertise in the DTC space to join us. In our small, specialized team, you’ll have the opportunity to make an impact while working with established eCommerce brands across multiple niches.
If you’re our unicorn, you’re a Klaviyo expert with deep knowledge of email strategy and deliverability. You have an eye for design, a data-driven mindset, and strong attention to detail, ensuring every email is optimized for engagement, conversion, and revenue growth.
While you don’t need to be a copywriter or designer (we have those), you know what converts and how to structure high-performing campaigns.
THIS IS A HANDS-ON ROLE
You’ll manage email marketing flows and campaigns for multiple brands—from strategy to execution—while working within our SOPs and receiving design, copywriting, and strategy support.
What you’ll (be excited to) do:
Klaviyo management – Setup, flow logic, integrations, tracking, segmentation, and troubleshooting.
Deliverability & sender reputation – Monitor, troubleshoot, and implement inbox placement strategies.
Email marketing strategy – Develop high-impact campaigns that maximize revenue, retention, and LTV.
Execution & optimization – Manage and refine monthly email calendars, campaign performance, and flow automations.
Testing & analytics – Continuously optimize segmentation, timing, and structure based on performance data.
Design structure in Klaviyo – Ensure emails are visually compelling and high-converting.
Team collaboration – Work with copywriter, designer, and ops manager to execute campaigns effectively.
Account audits & strategy – Audit potential client accounts and provide a roadmap for success.
Compliance & list hygiene – Maintain list health, deliverability best practices, and CAN-SPAM compliance.
Acquisition strategies – Build signup forms and conversational popups for Email/SMS growth.
QA & troubleshooting – Ensure flawless execution, accurate tracking (UTMs, web tracking), and Gmail Clipping prevention.
Competitive research – Analyze industry trends and competitor strategies.
To be considered you must check these boxes:
Must be able to work full-time within U.S. time zones and business hours.
Expert-level Klaviyo experience (3+ years) in DTC and clear understanding of eCommerce KPIs and advertising principles.
Strong knowledge of deliverability (DNS, spam filters, domain warming, segmentation strategy).
Strategic mindset – You understand flow logic, segmentation, and personalization.
Analytical skills – You break down, report on and optimize performance data.
Troubleshooting ability – Dynamic content errors, tracking, integrations.
Strong communication skills – This is a role that requires client-facing capability.
Ability to manage lists of 20,000 - 200,000+ subscribers.
Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and proactive in improving processes.
An eye for design – You can structure high-converting, visually engaging campaigns and understand Klaviyo’s builder.
High levels of integrity, autonomy, accountability, and self-motivation.
Ability to stay cool under tight deadlines and consistently deliver high-quality work on time.
To be considered, include “SAVAGE EMAIL MARKETING SUPERSTAR” in your application.
A Plus, But Not Required:
SMS marketing experience (Postscript or similar).
Agency experience.
Time Zone & Location Requirements:
Must be able to work full-time within U.S. time zones and business hours.
We are primarily considering candidates from Latin America, select European countries and U.S. due to time zone needs.
Due to significant time zone differences, we are not considering applicants from Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, or Africa.
Fluent English (written & spoken) is obviously required, as this is a role requiring client-facing capability.
Why Join Us?
